"Since a very young age there were two choices in my life pertaining to which career I would pursue... becoming a lawyer or a veterinarian. I think I was about 13 years old when the thought of becoming a lawyer and my vision for my life as a lawyer grew exceptionally stronger than the thought of becoming a vet. The journey to where I am today was definitely not an easy one however I have reaped many rewards from staying committed and goal-driven. I started candidacy in June 2017. I learnt so much during these 2 years and even though I was a mere candidate attorney, I was arguing in court, consulting with my own clients, drafting my own documents and running my own matters. I learnt to be a proper attorney even before I got admitted, which I am truly grateful for! After articles, I had the privilege to work under Riekie Erasmus of Riekie Erasmus attorneys. I became her professional assistant after my admittance as an attorney on 5 September 2019. I had my own files, clients, fee accounts and worked independently to a large extent. I learnt so much from her and her broad list of experience made her the ultimate mentor! My passion for law also grew stronger and deeper as well. I am now on my own and I have started my own firm. I am extremely passionate about litigious matters. My strongpoints and fields are mostly aimed at family law (divorces, maintenance, childrens court), criminal law, general civil litigation and commercial law. This is my 4th year in this wonderful profession and I aim to make a name for myself as a "pitbull" attorney who cares deeply for my clients and will go the extra mile to ensure that my clients' legal needs are taken care of."
